FLUX 3 Klein Prompt Pack: 20 Prompts + Editing Examples
How to prompt Klein (two rules)
- Describe, don't tag. FLUX-family models respond to natural sentences better than comma-stacked keyword lists. Write the shot like you'd brief a photographer.
- Fewer steps is the default. Klein is distilled — start from the ComfyUI template's step count rather than FLUX.1 habits. If results look under-cooked, raise steps modestly before rewriting the prompt.
Every prompt below is written to be copied as-is at 1MP. Swap the bracketed parts.
Portraits (5)
- A candid portrait of a woman in her 60s laughing at a kitchen table, morning window light from the left, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field, natural skin texture.
- Studio headshot of a young man with short curly hair, charcoal background, soft key light and a rim light, neutral expression, corporate but warm.
- Close-up of a street musician mid-song, eyes closed, warm tungsten stage light, slight motion blur on the hands, film grain.
- Three friends in their 20s on a rooftop at blue hour, city lights behind them, one holding a sparkler, wide-angle, genuine laughter.
- A child in a yellow raincoat looking up at falling rain, overcast soft light, puddle reflection, shot from slightly above.
Scenes & environments (5)
- A narrow alley in Lisbon at golden hour, laundry lines overhead, tiled facades, a cat on a doorstep, 35mm, warm tones.
- Interior of a small independent bookshop, wooden shelves to the ceiling, a reading lamp on, dust in a sunbeam, cozy and cluttered.
- A mountain lake at dawn with mist on the water, a single wooden rowboat, pine forest, mirror-still reflection, muted blues and greens.
- A night market food stall with steam rising, hanging lanterns, hands plating noodles, neon signage out of focus behind.
- An abandoned greenhouse overtaken by ferns and vines, broken glass panels, shafts of afternoon light, photorealistic.
Product & commercial (5)
- Matte black wireless headphones on a slab of raw concrete, single soft overhead light, dark gradient background, product photography, no text.
- A ceramic coffee mug with a sage-green glaze on a linen cloth, morning light, a few coffee beans scattered, minimal, catalog style.
- A pair of white leather sneakers floating at a slight angle on a pastel blue backdrop, soft shadow beneath, e-commerce hero shot.
- A glass bottle of amber perfume on wet black stone, water droplets, one hard light creating a caustic highlight, luxury advertising.
- A stack of three hardcover books with blank spines on a walnut desk beside a brass lamp, editorial still life.
Styles & illustration (5)
- A fox in a snowy forest, flat vector illustration, limited palette of navy, cream and rust, clean shapes, no outlines.
- A retro-futuristic city skyline, 1970s sci-fi paperback cover style, airbrushed gradients, bold composition.
- Watercolor painting of a fishing village at low tide, loose brushwork, visible paper texture, soft bleeding edges.
- Isometric cutaway of a tiny two-story cabin, cozy interior visible, low-poly 3D render, pastel lighting.
- Ink-and-wash illustration of a heron standing in reeds, Japanese sumi-e style, lots of negative space.
Multi-reference editing prompts (Klein's headline feature)
Klein accepts a prompt plus up to 10 reference images. These prompts assume you've attached references in the editing workflow (see setup):
- (1 ref: a product photo) — Place this exact product on a marble kitchen counter with morning light, keep the label and proportions identical.
- (2 refs: a person, a jacket) — Dress the person from the first image in the jacket from the second, keep the face, pose and background unchanged.
- (1 ref: a room) — Repaint the walls a deep teal and replace the rug with a cream wool rug; keep furniture and lighting as they are.
- (3 refs: three sketches of a character) — Render this character as a consistent 3D-styled figure in a neutral pose, matching the design across all references.
The habit that matters: say what to keep as explicitly as what to change — multi-reference edits drift when the prompt only describes the change.
